His Lublin appearance accompanies “Experience Japan”, an exhibition curated by the Museum of Japanese Art and Technology Manggha in Cracow.

6pm – 8 pm – meeting proper followed by a live Q&A
NO AGE LIMIT!
Books, limited Tshirts and copybooks will be on sale on the premises.
It is no wonder that the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures has been chosen as a venue of the meeting with Krzysztof Gonciarz and his talk about his life in Japan as it is here that the unusual exhibition entitled “Experience Japan” will take place from 18 November 2016 till 21 January 2017.
The exhibition presents not only the works by the most outstanding creators of ukiyo-e woodblock prints such as Utamaro, Hokusai, Hiroshige, which have decidedly changed twentieth-century Western art, but also Hiroh Kikai’s photography, Kenya Hara’s posters, samurai armour and kimonos – veritable synonyms of Japan, as well as “the way of writing” (calligraphy) and “the way of tea” (chadō).
