In August - the month of the Olympics in Rio - feel invited to a series of film meetings dedicated to the culture of Brazil, in particular to its music and architecture.

August film meetings are organised in partnership with the Brazilian Embassy in Warsaw (http://www.brasil.org.pl/).

All the films will be screened in original audio with English subtitles.

Antônio Carlos Brasileiro de Almeida Jobim, also known as Tom Jobim, is one of the outstanding personalities of the Brazilian music scene, creator of the bossa nova genre and the composer of the world-famous “Girl from Ipanema”. The film presents, among others, the influence of classical music on the creative output of Jobim and his relationship with poet Vinicius de Moraes.
