BRAZIL PROJECT

In August - the month of the Olympics in Rio - feel invited to a series of film meetings dedicated to the culture of Brazil, in particular to its music and architecture.

August film meetings are organised in partnership with the Brazilian Embassy in Warsaw (http://www.brasil.org.pl/).

All the films will be screened in original audio with English subtitles.

TROPICALIA - A documentary film treating of the troubled 1960s Brazil and of an artistic movement that evolved then and that later on came to be known as Tropicalia. The film is comprised of recordings, photos, interviews and recently discovered archive material documenting the 1967-69 period and focusing on the early career of such esteemed Brazilian performers as Os Mutantes, Gilberto Gil, and Caetano Veloso.
