Witness the fall of the wall that divided the city of Lublin.
For the first time in over four decades the square in front of the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures and Grottgera Street will become fully accessible to the residents and visitors to Lublin alike. Watch the multimedia spectacle about the history of the Theatre Under Construction and the future of the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures.

HOW TO BUILD THEATRE?

23 November 2015, Monday 6 pm

Venue: square located in front of "The Theatre Under Construction" (entrance from Racławickie Avenue)

The first ever arts project of the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin. Stars of the Polish theatre scene will perform a series of personal etudes  in which they will talk about how they build their own theatres. 

Starring Krystyna Janda, Tomasz Karolak, Jan Klata, Prof. Jerzy Limon, Maciej Nowak, Jacek Poniedziałek, Włodzimierz Staniewski, Michał Zadara

Directed by Tomasz Man

The performances will be interspersed with multimedia reflections of the following icons of the Lublin theatre scene: 

Profesor Leszek Mądzik, theatre director and founder of "Scena Plastyczna KUL"

Janusz Opryński, founder of the Provisorium Theatre and Artistic Director of the Centre for Culture in Lublin

Tomasz Pietrasiewicz, Managing Director of the Grodzka Gate-NN Theatre Centre in Lublin

as well as

Bolesław Stelmach, architect of the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures 

and

Piotr Franaszek, Managing Director of the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures
