Awarded the Golden Bear Prize at the 2016 Berlin Film Festival, Gianfranco Rosi’s masterful documentary is set in Lampedusa, a small Island not only located between Africa and Europe but also thrown right in the middle of the refugee crisis. An honest, touching and nuanced portrait of the world many of us would rather turn a blind eye to.
The screening accompanies the Profesor Zbigniew Hołda Award Gala.
