The Centre for the Meeting of Cultures, in cooperation with the Association of Polish Graphic Designers, launched in May the Visual Identity Competition whose aim was to select the logo of the institution. With Head Judge Peddy Mergui in attendance, three finalists were chosen out of 291 competition entires.

The Centre for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin (Poland) unveils the International Visual Identity Competition The Centre for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin, in partnership with the Polish Association of Graphic Designers announces an open, one-step competition for the creation of the Visual Identity of the institution. Agencies and graphic designers alike are invited to create and submit a logo (a sign and a logotype) for the Centre. The 1st Prize is 15 000 PLN and is followed by a 40 000 PLN contract to create the System of Visual Identity for the Centre. All the prizes will be awarded by an international Jury. - We are building a new multi-functional space based on the history of an unfinished theatre, known for decades as ‘The Theatre Under Construction'.
